In Too Deep

This week I chose Sum 41's 'In Too Deep" because I was deep into the spring playoff season, and thanks to the shortened season, everything began to pile up.

This past week the girls golf team, several members of the track team and Zack Monson of the boy's team all qualified for their respective state tournaments. The Westhope-Newburg-Bottineau softball team and the Bottineau and Westhope-Newburg boy's golf teams' season ended this past week. Bottineau's baseball team is still fighting for a region title after beating Rolette 15-5 last Thursday.

This week I covered region boy's golf yesterday and will go to Cando for Braves baseball tomorrow. I'll be shipping off for state golf on Monday.

A lot pictures to share this week. Enjoy.

Underway

I am back again as things are now "Underway" this season. It is a song by Fleetwood Mac.

I had one baseball game that I knew about last week, so I have  a few pictures to share from that. I should have some more baseball as well as softball and golf pictures next week.

I am keep thing post short, because I'm going to be off to Westhope shortly to snap some pictures for softball.

Here are the pics:

Still lots of snow just off the field at this May 2 baseball game.

Lynnes tags out a Hornets baserunner.

Garrett Pollman loses a fly ball in the sun.

Steal My Sunshine

This week I chose the one-hit wonder from 1999 "Steal My Sunshine," because it's been nice and sunny lately, but with much rain in the forecast that could be getting stolen away soon.

This past week I've been super busy covering golf, baseball and softball. In the upcoming week I'll be doing those three sports and adding in the region track meet as well. Going to be busy for the next few weeks.

Other than that I don't have much else. I'm still hoping my Bulls can somehow win three straight from the Heat, but it doesn't look good. Too many injuries.

Here are some pictures from the past week:

Westhope-Newburg's Hunter Ballantyne tees off the seventh hole last Friday in Bottineau.

Bottineau eighth grader Dalton Barbot strikes a chip last Friday.

Bottineau freshman Levi Pollman tees off on the second hole.
